This is often due to the lack of time for a systematic assessment of the efficiency and effectiveness of the improvement measures. The value engineering method allows the cost drivers of a project to be analyzed and ideas for potential savings to be identified. This so-called ""creativity process"" takes place in interdisciplinary teams with experience and expertise relevant to the project being examined. Subsequently, the technical and economic aspects of these ideas are evaluated and backed up with figures. The entire process is managed and supervised by a trained facilitator.
