ECI Group, comprising Engineers and Constructors International (Baton Rouge, USA) and Simon Carves (Manchester, UK), has been providing engineering solutions to greenfield and brownfield HPPE clients around the world for over six decades. Simon Carves was ICI’s chosen partner for the majority of their autoclave plants since the 1950s. When ICI exited the polyethylene licensing business, Simon Carves acquired the ICI technology library and has continued supporting operators. Over the last few years, ECI Group has made significant investment in modernizing and upgrading the ICI autoclave technology, using its expertise to implement improvements across all aspects of design, operations and reliability of these facilities. Repsol’s Polyolefins Business Unit has over 40 years’ experience of owning and operating multiple high-pressure polyethylene lines in Spain and Portugal. Repsol’s HPPE product range includes LDPE, EVA and EBA.
